DUNMIRE, Daniel Edward, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, McKees Gap, Blair County, Pa. on November 9, 1873; educated in public schools; private, Company 1, 10th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard (1898, Spanish-American War: Philippines); coke drawer, H. C. Frick Company; railroader, Pennsylvania Railroad; manager, Westmoreland Detective Agency (1901-1921); agent, Treasury Department, United States Federal Government (1921-1926); alderman, 8th  Ward, Greensburg; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1932; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1934); died, August 27, 1942 in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Clair Cemetery, Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
