DuBOIS, John E., Jr., a Representative from Clearfield County; born in DuBois, Clearfield County, Pa., August 13, 1898; attended, Fray School; attended, St. George’s School; attended, Harvard University; attended, Columbia Business School; second class machinist’s mate, United States Navy (World War I); pilot, United States Army Air Force (1942-1945, World War II);  president, Westwood Lumber Company; president, DuBois Lumber Company; president, DuBois Iron Works; founder, Pittsburgh DuBois Company; land developer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1951 term and reelected for the 1953 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1955 term; died, February 25, 1984; interred, Morningside Cemetery, DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
