DENNING, Stephen Churnside, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pa., July 2, 1874; graduated, public schools in Luzerne County, Pa.; photo-engraver; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1927 term; reelected to the House to serve the 1931, 1933 and 1935 terms; unsuccessful campaigns for reelection to the House for the 1929 and 1937 terms; died, January 26, 1941 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fernwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, Fernwood, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
