DeFrehn & Sons (35 years); appointed by court of Huntingdon County, school director, Mount Union; elected, school director, Mount Union; elected, Board of Education, Johnstown; director, Y.M.C.A., Johnstown; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1924; reelected to the House in 1926, 1930 and 1932; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1928, 1934); died, June 2, 1954 in Ferndale, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
