DAVISON, Donald Franklin, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, November 21, 1919 in Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, Elizabeth High School; seaman second class, "U.S.S. Vincennes" (1942), "U.S.S. Wharton" (1942), "U.S.S. ABSD-3" (1943-1944), "U.S.S. Moffet" (1944-1945), United States Navy (1941-1945, World War II; Purple Heart recipient); elected, judge of elections, Allegheny County (1941); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1947 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1948); died, May 6, 1997 in Fort Myers, Lee County, Florida; interred, Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
