DALRYMPLE, Delbert William, a Representative from Erie County; born, July 3, 1899 in Pierpont, Ashtabula County, Oh.; graduated, Girard High School; attended; Pittsburgh Business College; salesman; engineer, Pennsylvania Railroad; chief Deputy Sheriff, Erie County (1933-1937); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939 term; reelected to serve 6 more consecutive terms; appointed, Joint State Government Commission Sub-Committee on Legislative Apportionment (1945-1946); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Public Library Services (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House to the 1953 term; reelected to the House for the 1957 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1959 term; died, March 25, 1969 in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Erie Cemetery, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
