CULLEN, Frank J., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, Pa., February 25, 1890; attended, business college; private, United States National Guard (1916); private, United States Army (1918, World War I); painter; city constable, Philadelphia (1934-1940); deputy city constable, Philadelphia (1940-1942); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1941 term; reelected to the House for 2 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1947 term; died, September 3, 1958 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, Burlington County, New Jersey.
