COOK, Homer S., a Representative from Erie County; born in Platea, Erie County, Pa., January 3, 1886; attended, Platea High School; retail lumber dealer; elected, burgess, Platea (1918-1938); member, Erie County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939 term and served 4 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Joint State Government Commission Sub-Committee on Cooperatives (1945-1946); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee for Corporations and Cooperatives (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1948); died in March of 1974 in Erie County; interred, Platea Cemetery, Platea, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
