CONNER, Patrick, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in West Grove, Chester County, Pa., February 19, 1870; owner and manager, Artesian Well Drilling Company, Philadelphia; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1911 term and served 12 consecutive terms thereafter; resigned from the House, January 14, 1936; elected, city council, Philadelphia (1936-1940); gubernatorial appointee, State Workman's Compensation Board (1940-1946); died, November 4, 1947 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
