COAKLEY, Charles Borremo, a Representative from Northampton County; born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, Pa., October 11, 1886; graduated, Shendandoah High School; attended, Dry Goods Economist Business School; attended, Advertising Business and Advertising School; attended, International Correspondence School; buyer and advertising manager, department stores; engaged in real estate and general insurance; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1935 and 1937 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1939 term; died, August 29, 1977 in Hellertown, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
