CLARK, Edward A., a Representative from Clearfield County; born in Glen Richey, Clearfield County, Pa., June 7, 1901; railroad mechanic, New York Central Railroad (39 years); Republican precinct chairman (1929-1939); elected, council, Clearfield (1934-1938); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1941 term; elected, mayor, Clearfield (1961-1969); died, April 23, 1973 in Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
