CAPUTO, Eugene A., a Representative from Beaver County; born, February 17, 1899 in Italy; graduated, Freedom High School, 1919; B.S., economics, University of Pittsburgh, 1923; Bachelor of Laws, University of Pittsburgh, 1925; attorney; member, Ambridge Board of Trade; member, Advisory Council of the Pennsylvania Committee on Penal Affairs; solicitor, Conway Borough and Leet Township; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1932; served 2 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1938); elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1967-1968); died, October 17, 1978 in Sewickley, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Felix Catholic Church Cemetery, Freedom, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
