CALVIN, Everett Young, a Representative from Beaver County; born, Negley, Columbiana County, Oh., October 24, 1888; attended, Mt. Union Academy; A.B., Mt. Union College, 1914; attended, University of Wisconsin; LL.B., University of Pittsburgh Law School, 1926; honorary doctorate, University of Pittsburgh; lawyer; solicitor, Beaver (1941-1942); athletic coach and teacher, Akron, Ohio and Wheeling, West Virginia; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1938 and reelected in 1942; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1940, 1944); co-solicitor, Blackhawk School District; died, August 12, 1987 in Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
