BROWN, John Edmond, a Representative from Washington County; born, Mount Pleasant Township, Washington County, Pa. on August 17, 1876; attended, Hickory Academy; served, United States Army (Spanish-American War); teacher; farmer; engaged, electrical construction business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1932 and 1934; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1936 General election; died, March 15, 1948; interred, Mount Prospect Cemetery, Hickory, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
