BROTHERS, Fred L., a Representative from Fayette County; born, August 21, 1905 in Newcomer, Fayette County, Pa.; graduated, Uniontown High School, 1924; attended, Dickinson College; B.S., Washington and Jefferson College, 1928; attended, graduate school, University of Pittsburgh; LL.B., University of Pittsburgh Law School; attorney; campaign manager, Fayette County, F. Clair Ross for Governor; secretary, Fayette County Central Democratic Committee; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1944; resigned from the House, January 7, 1946; appointed, District Attorney, Fayette County (January 7, 1946-1947); elected, District Attorney, Fayette County (1948-1955); died, March 6, 1959 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
