BOORSE, Howard Fisher, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pa., May 10, 1876; attended, Lansdale public schools; attended, Upper Gwynedd Township schools; secretary; engaged in real estate and insurance business; elected, justice of the peace; director, Lansdale Theatre Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939 term and reelected to serve 6 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, chair, Local Government Commission (1943-1950); died while in office, December 7, 1951 in Landsdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lansdale Cemetery, Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
