BEAVER, Harry Clayton, a Representative from Columbia County; born December 18, 1891 in Columbia County, Pa.; graduated from high school, 1910; farmer; elected, justice of the peace (12 years); elected, school director (6 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1949 and 1951 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1953 term; died, May 5, 1967 in Catawissa, Columbia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Grace UCC Cemetery, Mill Grove, Columbia County, Pennsylvania.
