BEADMAN, William J., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, June 24, 1896 in Pennsylvania; sergeant, Fourth Infantry, Third Division, United States Army (World War I; Air Corps, World War II); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on April 28, 1936 to serve the remaining 1935 term; Sworn-In, May 4, 1936; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1937 term; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1952); died, July of 1978 in Somers Point, Atlantic County, New Jersey; interred, Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
