BAXTER, Thomas G., a Representative from Bradford County; born, November 30, 1871 in Kent County, De; corporal, United States Army (Spanish-American War); Presbyterian minister (1905-1938); chaplain, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1939); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election, May 19, 1942 to serve the remaining 1941 term; Sworn-In, August 4, 1942; was not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1942 General election; died, August 24, 1948 in Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lakeside Cemetery, Dover, Kent County, Delaware.
