ARNOLD, John Harold, a Representative from Fayette County; born, Franklin Township, Fayette County, Pa., on November 25, 1900; graduated, Dunbar Township High School; B.S., The Pennsylvania State (University) College, 1924; supervisor, Relief Gardens, Fayette County (1933); farmer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1934 and 1936; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1938); died, March 9, 1991 in Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
