ALLMOND, William A., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., January 15, 1883; graduated, Philadelphia Training School for Embalmers, 1901; funeral director; member, 13th Ward Democratic Executive Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1937 term and served 2 more consecutive terms; died while in office, July 18, 1942 in Pleasantville, Atlantic County, New Jersey.
