Washington, Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, South Hills Catholic High School; attended, University of Pittsburgh (2 years); B.A., English, St. Fidelis College Seminary; elected, school director, Baldwin-Whitehall School District (3 terms); member, Baldwin-Whitehall School Board (1987-1993; 2007-2011); voting delegate, Pennsylvania School Board Association (8 years); elected, judge of elections (2 terms); owner, BABS & Associates; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on April 24, 2012 to serve the remaining 2011 term; Sworn-In on May 8, 2012; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (2012).
