YATRON, Constantine G., "Gus," a Representative from Berks County; born in Reading, Berks County, Pa., October 16, 1927; graduated, Reading High School, 1946; B.A., Kutztown State Teachers College (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania), 1950; professional boxer; founder, Yatron Ice Cream; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1957 and 1959 terms; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1961-1968); elected, United States Congress (1969-1993); not a candidate for reelection to Congress (1992); died, March 13, 2003 in Fairfax Station, Fairfax County, Virginia; interred, Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
