WYND, James, Jr., a Representative from Wyoming County; born in Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pa., July 5, 1913; graduated, Tunkhannock High School; elected, sheriff, Wyoming County (1944-1952); president, Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association (1950-1951); member, Wyoming County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1957 term and served 2 more consecutive terms; died while in office, March 28, 1961 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
