WILLARD, James E., a Representative from Mercer County; born in Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, Pa., November 20, 1903; graduated, Farrell High School, 1922; graveside equipment businessman; elected, Shenango Township Republican Committee (1950-1951); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1957 term and served 4 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1967 term; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1967-70); died, April 27, 1988 in Pulaski, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
