TOLL, Herman, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, March 15, 1907 in Kiev, Kiev Oblast, Ukraine; graduated, West Philadelphia High School, 1925; LL.B., Temple University School of Law, 1930; lawyer; member, Pennsylvania Prison Society; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1951 term; reelected to the House to serve 3 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1958); elected, United States Congress (1959-1967); died, July 26, 1967 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
