SMITH, James K. K., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, June 9, 1898 in Glasgow, Scotland; attended, Pittsburgh public schools; clerk, board of judges, Common Pleas Court, Allegheny County; constable, Dormont Borough (1930-1938); elected, council, Dormont Borough  (1938-1942; president, 1940-1941); elected, burgess, Dormont Borough (1942-1965); member and chair, Republican Committee, Dormont Borough; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1964; died while in office, October 27, 1966.
