SIMMONS, James C., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pa. on February 13, 1905; attended, Cooghlin High School; Ph.G., Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science; pharmacist; retail pharmacy owner; elected, council, Bethel Park (4 years); elected, mayor, Bethel Park (1954-1963); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1960 and 1962; died while in office, June 26, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
