RIDINGER, Harry D., Sr.,  a Representative from Adams County; born in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pa., November 10, 1914; graduated, Gettysburg High School; staff sergeant, 173rd Field Artillery Group, United States Army (World War II; Bronze Star Medal and ETO Medal with 4 bronze stars, recipient); real estate and insurance broker; deputy clerk of courts, Adams County (1936-1941); elected, register of wills and recorder of deeds, Adams County (1948-1955); finance chairman, American Red Cross (1950-1951); member, Adams County Republican Executive Committee; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1962; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1964); died, January 10, 1979 in Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
