RAGOT, Henri E. “Henry,” a Representative from Northampton County; born, July 14, 1893 in Champigny-sur-Marne, Ile-de-France, France; attended, Fauvel Institute; dairy farm operator (12 years); lecturer, University of Kentucky College of Agriculture; owner and operator, beauty parlor (35 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1947, 1953, and 1957 terms; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House (1948, 1950, 1954); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1958); elected, commissioner, Northampton County (1961-1964); died April 18, 1970 in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
