MORLEY, Walter H., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Boston, Suffolk County, Ma., August 5, 1902; graduated, Boston College High School; served, Corps of Engineers, United States Army (World War II); steamfitter; chief safety engineer, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry; member, 22nd and 59th Wards Democratic Committees; campaign manager, Constance H. Dallas for council; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1950, 1952, 1954, 1956, 1958); leader, 59th Ward Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1960; reelected to serve 2 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1966); died, April 17, 1982 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
