MORAN, James P., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, March 12, 1887; machinist, Westinghouse Electric; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1935 term and served 10 more nonconsecutive terms (1937-1946, 1949-1956, 1959-1960); unsuccessful campaigns for reelection to the House (1946, 1956); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1960); died, April 17, 1964 in Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, New Saint Josephs Cemetery, North Versailles, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
