MILLER, Harold G., a Representative from Blair County; born, August 15, 1899 in Altoona, Blair County, Pa.; attended, Altoona public schools; head clerk, Pennsylvania Railroad; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1944; reelected and served 8 nonconsecutive terms thereafter (1945-1952, 1955-1962); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee, Public Library Services (1947-1948); unsuccessful campaigns for reelection to the House (1952, 1962); died, January 27, 1978 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
