MILLER, Beatrice Zellner, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, April 1, 1892 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; attended, Philadelphia High School for Girls; attended, Regent Academy; attended, University of Pennsylvania; president, 22nd Ward Republican Women (1934-1960; president, 1948-1960); member, 22nd Ward, 57th Division, Republican Committee (1938-1960); member, Republican State Committee (1950-1956); gubernatorial appointee, Pennsylvania Board of Motion Picture Censors (1948-1955); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1957 and 1959 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1961 term; died, September 25, 1975 in Ambler, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Peace Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
