MIHM, Martin Charles, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, August 5, 1898 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, Allegheny High School; graduated, Princeton University; graduated, Duquesne Law School; served, United States Naval Reserve (1918-1921); lawyer; special counsel, Division of Closed Banks, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General; unsuccessful campaign for election, Pennsylvania State Senate (1934); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); reelected to serve 12 more consecutive terms thereafter; elected, Pittsburgh School Board; chair, 13th Ward Democratic Committee; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1963 term; died, June 20, 1967 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
