LAWYER, Clarence Martin, Jr., a Representative from York County; born in Union Township, Adams County, Pa, June 25, 1912; graduated, Hanover High School, 1929; B.A., The Pennsylvania State University, 1933; J.D., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1936; attended, JAG Officer Candidate School, Ann Arbor, Mi. (1945); second lieutenant, JAG Corps, United States Ary (1944-1946); Assistant District Attorney, York County (1946-1950); elected, District Attorney, York County (1950-1954); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1955 term; died while in office, May 17, 1956 in York, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Gettysburg National Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
