KROMER, Arthur Ernest, a Representative from Jefferson County; born in Adrian, Armstrong County, Pa., December 2, 1902; employed, Buffalo, Rochester, and Pittsburgh Railroad at Punxsutawney; employed, Vega Coal Company; plant manager, Sanitary Dairy of Punxsutawney; founder, Kromer’s Dairy (1935-1962); elected, council, Punxsutawney Borough; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1953 and 1955 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1957 term; director, Farmer's and Miner's Trust Co. of Punxsutawney; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1957-1962); died while in office of Senate, March 4, 1962; interred, Morningside Cemetery, DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
