KRAMER, Harry A., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa. on July 4, 1924; graduated, Peabody High School; B.A., Saint Mary’s College, Md.; LL.B., University of Pittsburgh; naval aviator and carrier pilot, "U.S.S. Adair," "U.S.S. Makassar Straits," "U.S.S. Ranger," United States Navy (1942-1945, World War II); served, United States Navy Reserves (1945-1960); attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1960 and 1962; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1964); elected, judge, Orphans Court, Commonwealth Court, Pittsburgh (1965-1977); unsuccessful campaign, mayor, Pittsburgh (1969); died, August 3, 1977 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
