KESSLER, Harry A., a Representative from Montour County; born in Danville, Montour County, Pa., August 20, 1902; graduated, Danville High School, 1921; investigator, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (26 years); cost clerk, engineering corporation, Danville; unsuccessful campaign, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1940); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1959 term and served 3 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1966); assistant to the Chief Clerk, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1967-1969); died, September 20, 1974 in Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania; interred, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania.
