KELLY, William Joseph, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, Pa., May 29, 1909; graduated, Mahanoy City Township High School; master sergeant, United States Army (1942-1945, World War II); sales manager, John Sheahan, Jr. Trucking Company of Philadelphia; chair, 34th Ward Democratic Committee, 10th Division; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1961 and 1963 terms; died while in office, July 15, 1963 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
