ISAACS, Joseph W., a Representative from Delaware County; born in Felton, Kent County, De., October 23, 1903; graduated, Felton High School; graduated, Beacom Business College (Goldey-Beacom College); captain of police, Pennsylvania Public Railroad; justice of the peace; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1955 term and served 5 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1966); died, August 31, 1974 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Caroline County, Maryland.
