HOCKER, Blaine Clinton, a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Oberlin, Dauphin County, Pa., August 25, 1908; graduated, Swatara Township Public Schools; served, United States Coast Guard (1943-1945, World War II); employed, Bethlehem Steel Company (1925-1932); dairy business (1932-1943); secretary, Board of Commissioners of Swatara Township (1945); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1947 term and served for 8 more consecutive terms; appointed, Commission on Interstate Cooperation (1957-1966); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1966); elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1967-1968); died, March 19, 1992 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
