GOLDSTEIN, Joseph H., a Representative from Warren County; born in Buffalo, Erie County, NY, August 6, 1888; graduated, Bradford High School; LL.B., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law); attorney; elected, District Attorney, Warren County (1938-1945); secretary, Pennsylvania’s Workmen’s Compensation Bureau (19 years); hearing examiner, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (1947-1959); elected as a Republican in a Special Election on November 3, 1959 to serve the remaining 1959 term; Sworn-In, November 18, 1959 and reelected to serve 2 consecutive terms thereafter; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1965 term; died, September 1, 1976; interred, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, Erie County, New York.
