GARLOCK, Marl H., "Pete," a Representative from Futon County; born, September 29, 1909 in Flintstone, Allegany County, Md.; attended public schools; proprietor, retail petroleum and tire business; owner and operator, Chrysler-Plymouth Sales and Service (1946-1954); dairy famer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat for the 1955 term; reelected to the House to serve the 1957 and 1959 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1961 term; Librarian, Pennsylvania State Senate (1961-1962); engaged, real estate; died, March 30, 1976 in Todd Township, Fulton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
