FROST, Preston Alexander, a Representative from Centre County; born in Plessis, Jefferson County, NY, September 6, 1887; attended, Alden Academy; B.S. (1916), M.S. (1922), The Pennsylvania State (University) College; assistant professor, zoology, The Pennsylvania State (University) College (1916-1923); proprietor, insurance and real estate business (1932-1949); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1945 term; reelected to serve 5 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Revision of Vehicle and Tractor Codes (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1956);  died, May 17, 1975 in Centre County, Pennsylvania; interred, Pine Hall Cemetery, State College, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
