FLYNN, Michael Richard, a Representative from Washington County; born, December 30, 1914 in Washington, Washington County, Pa.; graduated, Claysville High School, 1932; staff sergeant, Company C, 15th Battalion, United States Army (1945-1946, World War II); glass inspector, Hazel Atlas Glass Company and the Continental Can Company; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1952; reelected to the House for 5 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1964); elected, commissioner, Washington County (1964-1976); died, April 11, 1976 in Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. James Garden Mausoleum, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
