FETTEROLF, Morton H., Jr., a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Rydal, Montgomery County, Pa., April 18, 1912; attended, William Penn Charter School; graduated, The Hill School, Pottstown; attended, Yale University; served, United States Navy (1943-1946, World War II); vice president and director, Millfield Coal and Mining Co.; director, Sugar Creek Coal and Mining Co.; author, golf articles, Philadelphia Ledger; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1957 term and served 3 consecutive terms thereafter; elected, Majority Whip (1963-1964); appointed, Joint State Government Commission (1963-1964); appointed, State Highway and Bridge Authority (1963-1964); resigned from the House, May 19, 1964; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1964); stock broker, Newburger & Co.; owner, semiprofessional football team, Philadelphia Bulldogs; executive vice-president, Continental Football League; died, November 4, 1997 in Blue Bell, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Thomas Episcopal Church Cemetery, Whitemarsh, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
