ESLER, James Alexander, Sr., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, January 12, 1923 in Pennsylvania; graduated, Washington and Jefferson College; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School; served, United States Army (1942-1945, World War II); attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in a Special Election, May 16, 1961; Sworn-In, June 12, 1961 to serve the remaining 1961 term; reelected to the House for the 1963 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1965 term; died, March 25, 2006 in Ohio.
