EDWARDS, William, a Representative from Lackawanna County; born in Greenfield Township, Lackawanna County, Pa., November 5, 1904; farmer; employee, Pennsylvania Department of Highways (over 30 years); board member, Greenfield Township School District (17 years); supervisor, Greenfield Township (14 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1957 term; reelected to serve 3 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House in the 1964 General election; died, October 15, 1990.
