DUNN, Edward Richard, a Representative from Northumberland County; born, November 9, 1903 in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pa.; served, 27th Infantry, United States Army (1919-1921); coal miner (25 years); elected, high constable, Mount Carmel; appointed, magistrate, Mount Carmel (1943-1945); elected, magistrate, Mount Carmel (1946-1973); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1950, 1952 and 1956; unsuccessful campaigns for reelection to the House (1954, 1958); educator; died, January 23, 1975 in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Josephs Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
